Nestled near Granville in La Manche, 4 kilometres from the sea in the heart of the Normandy countryside, the Manoir du Mesnil de Bas is situated along a small valley framed by woods. It is a comfortable place where life is good in all seasons, bathed in the shifting light of the coast yet sheltered by the tall trees of the forest and in the company of horses grazing throughout the meadows. This exceptional setting combines beauty and authenticity without neglecting a certain touch of discreet luxury.
Half of the manor is reserved for guests; the other half is occupied by the owners. The entire property has been fully renovated, offering all modern comforts whilst retaining a warm atmosphere with its antique furniture. The rear courtyard is landscaped and features a paved terrace; here you can enjoy your meals or soak up the sun. For enthusiasts, a tennis court is at your disposal.
Like many historic properties, the Manoir du Mesnil de Bas once comprised land and farms that formed a self-contained estate. You are welcome to walk throughout the entire property (excluding the private gardens adjacent to the dwellings), which now covers approximately 40 hectares of meadows and woodland. Unsecured ponds.
